My son got a wood chip in his eye...help?
Hi!
My son just came home from school saying he got a wood chip from the playground in his eye. He went to the nurse, they flushed his eye out, and she said she didn't see anything in it. It's very red and he says it hurts. I can't see anything either, but I'm wondering if he needs to go to the doctor. We have no insurance, and I don't need another bill if it's only a slight scratch or something. Should I take him anyway? Or would it be okay to wait a day and see how it looks tomorrow? Maybe just flush it out again?
well it mite already be out, jsut that the scratch is stil lthere and boy those hurt like no tomorrow. if it doesnt get better after soem sleep or something doctor is the rite away. but to the other guy who said he might have scratched the lens, hes wrong the lens is on the inside of the eye, behind the cornea and the other stuff, no possible to scratch unless the woodchip went fully into the eye
