what should i know about Moroccan weddings?
my fiance and i are going to get married in morocco. hes from there, i on the other hand have never been there. we are going to get married in sept 2012. as the question states, what should i know about the weddings. like what should i ware at the henna ceremony, what happens during the 4- 7 days. how much do the weddings cost? any information will help

Moroccan weddings are known for their moroccan dresses. You will have to try on a lot of amazing clothes and stay in them for awhile, then go back inside a room where the hairstylist,makeup artist and dresser are. you will then wear something else and so on. the last thing that women wear in the wedding is a white dress,then they cut the cake,little dancing and everyone leaves. the weddings usually end on 4 AM, late at night. the husband and the wife leave in a nice car with decoration on it, sometimes other cars follow them to make it special.
For the henna ceremony,you usually wear a regular and nice caftan ( you don't want to get henna on it,but still look good)

you don't have to buy a caftan, you can just rent it, also same goes to the ones you will wear at your wedding.
this is the weddings Moroccans are known for, but it all depends on your husband and his family on how they want to make it happen.
