Silver artworks of the Russian culture have been traced as far back as the Vladimir time period, between the years of 956 AD and 1015 AD. These three Russian silver spoons have monograms, but they are quite undecipherable due to the hand held positioning during usage. All three of these spoons were discovered and have dented bowls at the eating end, this is a very strong indication of extensive usage of the spoons such as on a daily basis, instead of them being only a very special occasion type of Russian silver utensil.
