Cobalt dress - advice needed about shoes and accessories?
Do these gladiator heels suit this dress?
It's for my grad, and I don't know if the heels suit the dress. Is there any way I could add something (jewelery etc.) to the dress to make it more suitable. At the moment I feel like the dress is too formal for the shoes.
In regards to the jewelery, should i have a long dangly black pendant type necklace? black cuff and ring? vintage, or modern? I really like vintage but not sure if the vintage would clash with the modern cut shoes?

this is my dress. dont mind the face, it wasnt that pretty anyways 
and i think it doesnt work because its like - dress, formal. shoes, sandals.
but i dont know, maybe im just worrying about nothing. feedback please!!
I feel like the shoes need to be a bit simpler for that kind of dress and I also agree that the dress is a bit more formal than the shoes.
I think a long necklace would look fantastic with the dress if the shoes were different. I feel like those shoes almost take away from the dress. The dress is gorgeous but the shoes have a lot going on and I feel like they draw your attention more than the dress itself does.
If you dressed up the shoes a bit more, some simple dressier ones, and wore a long necklace, I think the necklace would draw attention to not only itself, but the dress as well - and I think that would make the outfit really great.
So, you could then wear more vintage jewelry with different shoes and not have to worry about them "clashing" like you said.
