How do I disinfect my Pampered Chef Stoneware after mice infestation?
I ended up w/ some mice in my home & they ran through my dishes where they urinated/defecated on my Pampered Chef Stoneware, which I know you are not supposed to clean w/ soap, so I am afraid to use bleach and I really don't want to just throw them away, they were so expensive. Please Help...Desperate!...I can't cook w/out my stoneware!
Won't my food taste like bleach then?
I am a consultant and have been for 11 years. I have never run into this particular problem, so I am contacting the Pampered Chef Home Office for suggestions. I will edit my answer once I hear back from them. I want to make sure you have the best and safest answer. I would think bleach residue on the stone could even be flammable in the oven's heat. Hold off on doing anything and I will get back to you as soon as I hear anything.
