Please can you give me the differences between these two farmers?
Giles grows barley and wheat. He earns about £25000 from his farm
Abdul makes about £1400 from growing opium poppies. He gets about £30 for each kilo of opium.
Giles' eldest son is David. He is 19 and has recently been arrested for burglary.
Giles, aged 44, is a farmer near Rugeley in Staffordshire. He is married to Jenny. They have 3 children
Abdul use to grow wheat, but gave up in 1997 because he found it difficult to make enough money to look after his family
David is a heroin addict. He needs a lot of money to fuel his drug addiction
Abdul, aged 35, is a farmer in Afghanistan. He is married to Saleema. They have 4 children
My homework is to list the differences between these two farmers. Im stuck! Any ideas??

what subject is it? neway i'll give u my observations-
Giles is a law-abiding man and grows crops that are legal. he grows food crops.
Abdul grows a drug and cash crop. He has a profit motive.
Giles and his family are not good at parenting.
But he is a family man.
He cannot provide enough money for his family though they are not in any financial trouble.
Abdul was earlier broke and took to making more money for his family. he probably has a large family to support.
Abdul does have a large family- he has 4 children to support and would go to any lengths to get money he needs.
Giles on the other hand abides by the law. he has quite a large family too, and earns moderately, but not enough to suit his son's heroin addiction or rehabilitation. good luck, btw, do ur homework yourself- u'll learn.
