Wedding Colors: What goes with Ivory and Fall colors?
My dress is ivory. We have set a definite date now, which is in the fall. We originally decided to have our wedding colors as ivory and a deep royal purple. When I mentioned it to my MOH that she'd be in a deep purple, she made it a point of saying that it might not go with fall colors. (We're getting married outside)
So, what color should I put her in, that will go with the fall setting, and be also a beautiful wedding color scheme? (Please not beige or anything like that) If you can provide examples by posting image links, I'll be so grateful!!!
I think that anything bold / dark looks great for fall - including the color you describe (i.e. not pastels since they are traditionally spring / summer colors). Deep purple, blue, red, emerald, or gold would all look great. My examples are all from Watters - since it's where I shopped - but I hope they give you a sense of the range that could look good for fall. I don't think you should feel limited in your color choices - fall is a great time for a wedding!
