How do I tell if my 1969/70 Pontiac 400 motor is a rare one and wheres the best place to sell it?
It's a rebuilt high performance engine that was givin to me as back rent payments. I hear it may be a very rare engine, and I want to sell it. But I dont have much vintage motor knowlege.
The 400 was a common GM motor back then.. If it has been properly rebuilt.. (You may need paperwork that would prove that the work was done by a competent shop), it might be worth a few hundred dollars.. The more rare engine used in the GTO would be a 455cu in. engine. be sure to check and see which one you have.
