I got porcelain crowns! Now about beverages..?
Okay. So I had some pretty ugly teeth so I went ahead and got my front six teeth crowned. I want to be VERY careful with them (I am not biting directly into ANYTHING)
But I'm wondering about drinks. I'm trying to get in a habit of using a straw for everything so i can bypass my teeth all together, but lets say I'm in a situation where I don't have a straw and I want something generally not considered good for teeth. Like a Mountain Dew.
I just want to know, does soda/wine/coffee/tea trash porcelain crowns the same way it does regular teeth?
They should not be affected by what you eat and drink. I cannot imagine that you are totally avoiding them. They are meant to be used...go for it. They can be replaced or repaired if something happens. Good Luck
