what is the best home method of cleaning stainless silver, tea pot sugar and cream pitcher and tray.?
I like the method where you fill a glass container large enough to accomodate your items with: 2/3-1 cup baking soda, a sheet of aluminum foil on the bottom and really hot water to cover the items. It works well on items that have designs etched in or deep and recessed designs or around handles and spouts all of which are difficult to use creams effectively. The only thing about using this method is you must dry the items thoroughly once you remove them from the bath. I use a microfiber, highly absorbent cloth so that every drop is dried. They will become tarnish spots over time if you don't.
