Is there any cheaper/ generic version of pampered chef out there thats like the stoneware line?
I really liked something i seen at a pampered chef party this weekend, but its out of our price range. So i try to find a cheaper version of the item. Like they sell the pizza stones, well we bought one at kmart for 9.99 and it has worked great for nearly a year now. So i am looking for something like the 3 qts deep dish casseroles dish they sell.
Would like if you tell me somewhere you have seen it. I know theres stores to go look at, but who wants to drive an spend the gas money just to look. Plus I live about 1hour 20mins from everything but walmart
Always remember that you get what you pay for. A lot of the cheaper stoneware pieces you can buy at Target, Wal-Mart, etc are only for use with breads and pizza doughs. If you cook anything greasy or with an oil content (like chicken nuggets or even cookies), the stone will absorb the grease and oils and start to smell after a while. You would be limited to what kinds of things you could make in it. Pampered Chef stoneware is made to be used with anything you can put in the oven - baked chicken, brownies, pizza, lasagna, and whatever else. PC stoneware also has a 3-year guarantee. That is why they are a little pricey, but you do get a good "bang for your buck". However, I completely understand if your money is a little tight.
If you were at a party this weekend, the consultant should have offered you the opportunity to host a show (either in your home, passing the catalog around, or an internet show on her website) so you could get your stoneware for free.
