Use of natural light to take pictures Quality Study
There is much to say about a fully equipped photography studio, filled to the brim with lights and expensive equipment just waiting to be applied to an artistic endeavor. Unfortunately, most people who love photography as a hobby, do not have the budget to spend money on a configuration of professional lighting equipment. If you are taking pictures as a hobby, there's really no good reason spend money on lighting equipment is not used regularly. If you want to create studio quality images without having to buy a lot of expensive equipment, here is some tips you can use to get great results.
Out the brush
Whenever you shoot, always remember that all surfaces either reflect or absorb light to take this into account, especially when designing a space for photography. If you know you can not add a lot light to a room, trying to paint all the white stuff (including the floor, if possible). The white walls will help to bounce light around a more even tone.
Make Your Own Reflectors
To create soft and light, it even has to learn to "bounce" the light out of the umbrella or reflectors for best results. Although this is difficult to do without a few different light sources can mimic the effect of making your own reflectors for use when shoots. A white sheet, large piece of cardboard, or even some styrofoam from a construction site can do wonders in this role and help smooth the shadows created when you only have one main light source (solar).
Create Your Own Backdrops
It may not be able to have a large selection of photographs as backdrops in a professional studio, but that does not mean they can not have fun creating one of their own. Bedding can be used for color basics and then, if you want to be creative you can always use paint to create a pattern or add color. If you hang these backdrops against a large window (or the garage door opener), you get the same effect as a fill light pointing to them.
Learn how to use flash
Direct the flash can often make a picture look superficial and produce harsh shadows, but when used correctly, is a great resource. Focus on surfaces bounce around your topic whenever possible and only use it to fill in the shadows of the front. A good way to think about using flash is that if the image does not appear to need a flash, it's a good time to use a fill light for additional.
Watch your time
The brightness and quality of the light changes depending on time of day. If you set a backdrop against the clear light, early morning, then use a homemade reflectors to soften the shadows and you'll be amazed at how professional the final image looks. You should practice taking pictures at different times of day so you know when lighting is at its best, then schedule sessions for exact times so you get the best light possible.
Do not forget studio lights that are designed to simulate natural light as this is the type of lighting is more attractive. If you know how to take this light and make that works for you, there is absolutely no reason it should not be able to generate images that rival those created in the studio's most expensive city. All you need is some creativity and willingness to make it work, and you can have your own makeshift studio in no time at all. In fact, the tools used to get the studio lighting, no matter how long as the quality results you want.
