How long does hot chocolate last before it expires?
I got my friend Hot Chocolate & Mini Marshmallows in a glass jars for Christmas(of '09) && It's now been a little less than 5 months and I still haven't given it to her since i didn't really get to see her.. So, would the hot chocolate still be good or do you think it expired already? I can't check because it's already wrapped in Christmas paper & stuff... I am planning on giving it to her this week..

Since hot chocolate is a powder, it takes a LONG time to expire, if it expires at all. The mini marshmallows should be fine too. Hot chocolate companies kno that their product may be sitting in your pantry for a long time in between uses, so they make it immortal
