should i match my dishes to my kitchen or my dining room?
My smaller kitchen appliances are cobalt blue to match my old dishes. But the DR has my collection of suns arranged on the wall and is painted light orange. I've been looking at fiestaware. They have orange and cobalt blue. So not sure which ones i should get.
I like them both and each would go with your rooms. I am personally not a fan of blue for dining but the cobalt is dark enough to be almost black.
Foods in general don't look good in blue rooms. So, my recommendation would be to purchase one plate of each and then try them out in your rooms to see how you feel. Place some food on the plate and see which one looks the most appealing. I would concentrate on the room where you will be using them the most often.
