How should I tell this to my hair stylist?
I've been going to a very expensive hair stylist for over a year. I told her I wanted to go blond (I used to be one) she said too harsh that she'd give blond highlights instead. I've been paying $350 every 6 weeks for color/highlights - end result is I get mistaken for a red head, no joke. I am so fed up (I see her doing other women even platinum blonds beautifully). I have an appointment with her this afternoon, I am really angry, she wasted my time/money and has highlighted my hair so often that it can't handle more highlights (she tones it to a rusty reddish copper color that looks awful). She's really nice so I end up smiling and saying i like it, then go home and cry. So how can I approach this with her today?????????
Hey (: I feel your pain (it happened to me a few times, and to my friends too) Tell her clearly that you want blonde, no highlights, no copper tones, just blond. Tell her not in a way that could offend her, but make it clearly that you won't change your mind. Also if she insists, there's no need to say yes, there's always other hair stylist that can do it for you.
