Devon Holiday Cottages

Further east on the southern coast is the UNESCO World Heritage Site called the Jurassic Coast. It is located on the shores of Dorset and East Devon. The name comes from the large amount of dinosaur fossils found in the area. The site, which received its charter in 2001, is only the second all-natural World Heritage Site in the United Kingdom. Devon is also home to Braunton Burrows, which is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
