what does a SINGLE ROSE represent...?
if it grew in the middle of a dessert?
(a dessert rose for short)
A Single Rose in the middle of the desert would represent(according to me) :
Hope,life,water,wishes,dreams, remembrance,colour,joy,grief,a strong will, a strong belief,love..
Hope: a rose in the middle of the desert represents hope…like a ray of hope in times of helplessness and distress..
Life: a single rose amidst the vast, barren land…represents life..and living…
Water: if there is a rose which grows in the dry land…there must be water which helped it grow…a ray of hope for the thirsty man…
Wishes: if I would see a rose in the middle of the desert..i would wish to see another one..i would wish to find another one..somewhere…
Dreams: one single rose in the middle of the desert…would give rise to a ray of hope…one ray of hope would give rise to a wish…one single wish would give rise to many many wishes…and many many wishes would give rise to a wonderful dream….here one can dream of a garden…if one sees a single rose grow in the middle of the desert….
Remembrance: there must be someone who must have planted the rose…remembering something..or someone…the single rose would represent that remembrance and it would also represent the traveller’s remembrance of something/someone…after seeing the rose grow in the desert where there is the least possibility of life to thrive..
Colour: a red/pink/white/yellow/orange rose would represent a different colour in the middle of the singularly coloured desert….
Joy: one would be overjoyed seeing a life like himself/herself growing in the middle of the harsh and strange and unfamiliar desert….so it will also represent joy…
Grief: it may happen with some…but the supposition that the rose will also wither under the dreadful and harsh sunrays…would bring in a bit of grief…to some minds which think deeply about life and its sorrows…
A strong will: call it the will of the rose Or the will of the one who planted it…it is strong …because it still grows and is still alive…
A strong belief: That the rose would grow….will grow...and should grow...
it would also represent true love...which grows beautifully in the middle of difficult situations...
my personal opinion and opinions may differ...
