Why does my red tail boa never soak in her water bowl?
My boa may sometimes take small sips from her water bowl but she never lays or soaks in it. The bowl is definitely big enough for her and she always has privacy to do so. Please help!!!
There is nothing wrong, so don't worry. You're boa will soak if the humidity is to low, if it is about to shed, if it is too warm or to avoid pests like mites. So if your snake isn't soaking then don't worry, but you should check the temp and humidity daily to make sure it is set right, so your boa doesn't get to cold/hot or end up with an upper respiratory infection.
