Ever seen blue delphinium in a bridal bouquet?
My florist is going to use white roses, baby's breath, and blue delphinium in my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, and the groom's bout. My bridesmaids are wearing DARK navy blue dresses, iridescent (blueish black) taffeta pickup ball gowns. Have you personally seen blue delphinium..? Do you think it will be dark enough? I just don't want to be surprised on the big day.
have you brought swatches of you gowns to the florist?yes ,I have seen delphiniums.They come in 3 different shades of purple, they also come in white and pink.Have your florist find the color of the color she is purchasing for the florals,and bring your swatches.and you be the judge.The royal blue hydrangea I know is so deep,and rich which have almost sparkles on them naturally!sounds really beautiful.EDIT for the florist your attention to detail dealing with the colors and websites is wonderful but as a matter of taste, I LOVE orange roses but set against the white is absolutely horrible!maybe against the bridesmaids, but I see it not as a subtle accent,but as a distraction..Please don't take this personally,simply an opinion.your answer was well thought out and creative.
