Do I need more liquid for this green bean crock pot recipe?
I have this recipe but no directions: fresh green beans, new red potatoes, bacon or ham & a whole stick of butter.
I used 1 1/2 lbs of beans, 8 new red potatoes, a big hunk of salt port & a stick of butter. Do I need to add water or chicken broth or some other liquid? I have the crock pot on low.
Oh, and do I need to brown the bacon first?

I use 1 small can of chicken broth for my green beans in the crock pot. And if you cook your bacon first you will be cooking out all the flavor, don't cook it. Ham is good too.
